This week on Ramona Revealed, we take a look at a must visit Coffee Shop in Ramona! Since 1993, The Packards Coffee Shop
has been a staple of the Ramona community and a great place for Breakfast, Brunch, and of course, my favorite….crepes! Great coffee, food, and the best spot to hang out on Cruise Nights.
Cruise Night Specials
One of the things I love about the Packards Coffee Shop, and what makes it a must visit Coffee Shop in Ramona is that it’s the perfect place to go to on Thursday nights to meet up with friends for the Ramona American Graffiti Cruise. This popular summertime tradition takes place Thursday nights and runs through September and you can count on Packards Coffee Shop to showcase their “Weekly Cruise Special” on their Facebook Page
Cars will begin to gather for the cruise between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. Most drivers line up near Ron’s Tire & Brake on Etcheverry at Main Street, while others join along the way.
Many, including myself really look forward to coming together for the weekly event. Classic cars, moderns, big-rigs and more may be found cruising up and down Main Street, and residents are sure to enjoy the camaraderie and festivity.

One of the things that makes Packards a must visit Coffee Shop in Ramona is that it’s so much more than just a Coffee Shop. During the holidays, Santa is known for coming in for a cup of coffee and meet with the kiddos.
The Easter Bunny comes by during the Spring. There’s always something going on at Packards that you’ll want to come check out.
Packards has even been known to host a “Dr Who” trivia night that my science fiction fans say is pretty awesome! I mean, how can it not be if you have such fabulous drinks and food?!?
Packards is truly a must visit coffee shop in Ramona, and it is an amazing place to visit. But it’s so much more than that. It’s a staple of the Ramona Community. That’s what Nora Seidl felt when she began going to Packards when she first moved to San Diego, she loved it because it offered things you couldn’t find at other coffee shops, gourmet coffees, crepes, and food.
Then when she and her husband had the opportunity to purchase it 9 years ago, they couldn’t miss the opportunity to keep the iconic tradition and history of the Packards Coffee Shop alive. I hope that you will stop in, and maybe make this great place a part of history for you and your family as well!
